Middlebury Maple Run
Sunday, May 5, 2013 at 9:00 AM (EDT)
Please join us for the first time, or welcome back to Middlebury, Vermont—in the heart of the Champlain Valley. Participate in one of New England’s “must-do” road races. The Middlebury Maple Run - The Sweetest Half has earned a reputation as being well-organized and friendly. Plus, we can't resist mentioning the beautiful, scenic course that features vistas of the Green Mountains and Adirondacks.
We pride ourselves on being attuned to runners' needs. We've listened to runners' feedback from previous years and continue to host a race that just keeps getting better.
Improvements & Changes for 2013:
Do the MadMiddDoubleHalf or the MadMiddHalfFull!
There’s no need to choose between the races—run both! Either as an individual or a two-person relay team. They're called the MadMiddDoubleHalf (run both half marathons) or the MadMiddHalfFull (run the half in Middlebury and the full in Waitsfield). Run both races and your finishing times will be added together. Individuals and teams in seven categories with the lowest total “gun” time will be eligible for great ski- and golf-related prizes.
Just check the box on either race’s application to indicate you intend to run both events. You’ll need to register separately for each race. Relay teams MUST have the same runners for both races.
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:
MadMiddDoubleHalf(both half marathons)
MadMiddHalfFull (Middlebury half; Waitsfield full)
As in past years, race proceeds will benefit several of Addison County's non-profit organizations.
